2013 "Friends of EcoPark" Award Presentation Ceremony
To credit all participating companies and organizations for their achievements in waste reduction and recycling, the Environmental Protection Department and the EcoPark Management Company held the 2013 "Friends of EcoPark" Award Presentation Ceremony at the Hong Kong Productivity Council on 17 June 2013 (Monday).
This year, the "Friends of EcoPark" Scheme (the Scheme) received encouraging response across a wide range of industries, attracting 92 organizations to participate, among which 70 attended the ceremony to share the joy of winning the accreditation.
During the sharing session of the ceremony, representatives of two EcoPark tenants, Champway Technology Limited and K. Wah Construction Products Limited, spoke of the latest developments in their recycling businesses. Two awarding organizations, the Construction Industry Council - Zero Carbon Building and the Super Star Group, also shared how the Scheme has helped to create win-win situation for partnering enterprises and recyclers.
The Scheme will continue to encourage sustainable collaboration between private and public sectors and the EcoPark tenants, which helps to realize a circular economy and a long-term commitment to environmental protection and conservation.
