Temporary closure of EcoPark Visitor Centre

To tie in with the response level under the "Preparedness and Response Plan for Novel Infectious Disease of Public Health Significance" being raised to Emergency Response Level and avoid people from gathering, EcoPark Visitor Centre has been closed from 29 January 2020. All guided tours were cancelled until further notice.

Rental concessions and One-off Recycling Industry Anti-epidemic Scheme (ORIAS)

In the face of the current economic challenges, the Environment Bureau offered a 50% rental concession from October 2019 to March 2020 to eligible tenants of the EcoPark. The concession period has been subsequently extended for another six months to September 2020. To cope with the economic impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the rental concessions from April to September this year will be increased from 50 % to 75% under the new round of anti-epidemic measures.

In addition, the Advisory Committee on Recycling Fund (RFAC) has announced the launch of the "One-off Recycling Industry Anti-epidemic Scheme" (ORIAS) to help the recycling industry cope with the current economic situation and recent operation difficulties brought by the COVID-19 virus infection. The ORIAS is open for applications from 16 March 2020 to 30 June 2020. For details, please visit Recycling Fund website.
