EcoPark participated and set up a game booth in the Park Vale Christmas Carnival 2019 on 21 December 2019 (Saturday) in order to promote EcoPark and disseminate green messages to their residents. The information of Visitor Centre and the recycling businesses of our tenants were also displayed on the promotional boards. In total, 298 residents participated our booth during the event.

25 Government Property Agency staff visited EcoPark on 4 December 2019. The tour was started with a presentation of the background and latest development of the EcoPark, followed by a guided visit to the Visitor Centre, green features and a bus tour to visit our tenants and facilities.

7 GreenPeace staff visited EcoPark on 16 December 2019. The tour was started with a presentation of the background and latest development of the EcoPark, followed by a guided visit to the Visitor Centre and a bus tour to the tenants and facilities. A special tour to the recycling plant of K. Wah Construction Products Limited was also arranged to let them know more about the recycling processes.

The Green Lifestyle Local Tour Incentive Scheme is funded by the HKSAR Government and provides travel agents with cash incentives based on the number of green lifestyle local tour participants they serve. The Scheme aims to encourage the public to enjoy nature, promote nature conservation and biodiversity, and raise public awareness of the HKSAR Government’s efforts in promoting green lifestyle and tourism, waste and carbon reduction, environmental protection and nature conservation, etc.; promote local economic activities; and support the tourism and related industries.

EcoPark is one of the designated green spots under the Scheme. Each travel agent is eligible to a cash incentive of HK$100 for each Hong Kong resident for whom it arranges an eligible green lifestyle local tour, with the number of green lifestyle local tour participants capped at 500. The application period of the Scheme is from 20 January 2020 to 15 August 2020.
