The Environmental Protection Department invites tender for Pilot Scheme on Collection and Recycling Services of Plastic Recyclable Materials – Eastern District (Tender Reference No.: WR 18051). The service scope of the contract comprises establishing plastic recyclable materials collection network and provision of associated collection and recyclable materials into raw materials or products and provision of associated educational and promotional activities. To promote EcoPark tenants' recycling businesses and EcoPark, EcoPark participated in Tuen Mun District Occupational Safety & Health (OS&H) Carnival 2019 cum Tuen Mun Safety Community Confirmation Ceremony on 23 February 2019 (Saturday). The game booth of EcoPark, names “Having Fishes All Year” (年年有魚), was set to introduce EcoPark. Apart from displaying OS&H knowledge in our game as required by the organizer, the logo of EcoPark, the information of Visitor Centre (VC) and the names and recycling business of EcoPark tenants were also displayed. Recycled paper was used for the design of game booth. It encouraged the visitors to book our VC and donate waste sources to EcoPark tenants. Over 1,000 visitors visited the booth during the event.

EcoPark was awarded the 2nd runner up in Booth Design by the Judging Panel of the Organizer out of the 9 participating companies.

EcoPark joined the OS&H Quiz as well. EcoPark was awarded the 1st runner up in the OS&H Quiz (CLP Trophy Game) out of the 9 participating companies including CLP Holdings Limited, MTR Corporation Limited and Towngas China Company Limited.

Tour of EcoPark was conducted for BEAM Society Limited on 10 January 2019. Information about the EcoPark was presented. Guided tour of the visitor centre and green feature of EcoPark, On Fat Lung Innovative Resources Limited (Waste Rubber Tyres Recycler) and WEEE．PARK (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment treatment and recycling facility) were also provided.
