New Display Area inside Visitor Centre - Plastic Recycling Education Centre

Part of the Visitor Centre has been refurbished to a Plastic Recycling Education Centre and was opened to the public on 22 September 2017. Through interactive games, movie and displayed information, visitors can get a full picture of the plastic recycling process and understand the importance of source se paration and clean recycling. Interested public can directly visit our webpage for registration now.

Announcement of the awardee list for the 2017 "riends of EcoPark" Scheme

After reviewing by the Selection Committee, the awardee list for the 2017 "Friends of EcoPark" Scheme is out now. Formal notification has been issued to each awarding organization.

We sincerely thank for the supports given to this Scheme and hope that all awarding organizations can work along with EcoPark tenants to promote their proper waste management practices and experience, leading Hong Kong towards sustainable development.

Eco Expo Asia 2017

EcoPark participated in the Eco Expo Asia 2017 from 26 October 2017 to 29 October 2017 and set up a carefully-arranged booth to promote the recycling business of EcoPark tenants and create a platform for EcoPark tenants to explore development opportunities so as to promote the development of local recycling industry.

EcoPark's booth also showcase the Visitor Centre as well as green architectural features of EcoPark to reveal the latest development of EcoPark.

Special Tours

Representatives of Consulate General of Canada visited EcoPark on 27 September 2017 to learn the development of EcoPark and the government's efforts on waste reduction and recycling.

Representative from EcoPark Management Office introduced the development of EcoPark

Representatives from Housing Department visited EcoPark on 19 October 2017. The visitors were briefed on EcoPark development, and joined a site visit to the food waste recycling facility of South China Reborn Resources (Zhongshan) Company Limited to learn the operation situation of local recycling industry and its difficulties.

Ms. Kathrin Zeller, Waste to Resrouces Network Manager of C40 CITIES, visited EcoPark on 23 October 2017. After briefed on the local waste management, Ms. Zeller visited K.Wah Construction Products Limited and WEEE.PARK.

Green Information

The 4th Green Station project – Sham Shui Po Community Green Station (SSPCGS) started its operation on 17 October 2017. Situated at 339 Yung Chau Street (between Wing Cheong Estate and Sham Shui Po Park), the SSPCGS opens daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Monday close) to the public to collect plastic bottles, glass bottles, electrical appliances, computers, fluorescence tubes, charged batteries and energy saving tubes.

Public who are interested to the latest news about SSPCGS, please visit the social media and other suitable channels of the operator, Po Leung Kuk. Enquiries can also be made by telephone at 9387 6549.
