Guide of Tenants
The first batch of Phase 2 lots was awarded to eco-recycling businesses for recycling of waste metals, waste lead-acid batteries, waste construction materials/waste glass, waste electrical and electronic equipment and waste rubber tyres. The enrollment of new tenants broadens the types of recyclables in EcoPark, making a concerted effort to create an ideal recycling place which is becoming more advanced, more responsive to social needs and with larger scale.

Getting to KNOW
Green Roof System

Following the preceding issue about green carpark, we would like to introduce another green space in EcoPark – the Green roof system.

Viewing from the top of EcoPark, you can find that the roofs of Administration Building and Marine Frontage Management Office are paved with carpets of green.

Not only can the glass roof system improves the landscape and bring in vitality, it can also refresh surrounding air. Besides, plants are natural heat insulators and dehumidifiers. They can lower indoor temperature by absorbing part of the sunlight which can consequently reduce the use of air-conditioning, and can absorb rainwater to avoid overloading the roof drainage system, keeping the environment in Administration Building and Marine Frontage Management Office refreshing in intense summer heat and heavy rainfall.
