Welcome to the Online Tour Booking System of the Visitor Centre (hereinafter "the Centre") of EcoPark for application of Docent Service. The number of visitors of each tour should be limited to 40 people only plus 1 docent in each guided tour. This system only allows to make application for Docent Service for the coming 7 to 90 days. All applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability. The Community Relations Unit of the Centre will inform the applicant of the booking result by e-mail or by fax within 3 working days upon receipt of application. Please read the following guidance notes before applying the Docent Service. Applicant who agrees to the following notes is responsible for informing and guaranteeing that the tour group is in compliance with these notes.

Guidance notes for application:
  1. The Centre provides Docent Service. All tour groups will be guided by our docents throughout the visit.
  2. Free visit is not allowed. Advanced booking is required. All applications have to make at least 7 to 90 days prior to the date of visit.
  3. Failure to provide sufficient, accurate and clear information will possibly affect the processing time and the outcome of the application, and may even lead to failure to process the application.
  4. All applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
  5. The Community Relations Unit of the Centre will inform the applicant of the booking result by e-mail or fax within 3 working days upon receipt of application.
  6. Once an application is approved, the applicant cannot change the date and session of visit. Booking is not transferable.
  7. Opening Hours
    Mondays to Sundays (Closed on every Tuesday afternoons and public holidays*).
    * Visitor Centre is closed on New Year's Day, the first three days of Lunar New Year, Good Friday, Christmas Day and the first weekday after Christmas.
  8. The Centre provides 5 sessions of Docent Service per day. Each session lasts for 1 hour # :
    Session 1: 9:30 am to 10:30 am
    Session 2: 10:45 am – 11:45pm
    Session 3: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
    Session 4: 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm
    Session 5: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

  9. The approval of applications is subjected to the applicants' compliance with the above-mentioned criteria. The Centre reserves the rights to reject any application, or to request the applicants to change the date and session of visit.
Notes for visiting:
  1. Visitors have to arrange their own transportation to and from EcoPark. It is strongly encouraged that visitors use public transport# to reduce carbon emissions. 2 parking spaces for coaches and a few parking spaces for private vehicles are available in EcoPark for visitors to use. Visitors who would like to use parking space have to provide the car plate number to the Centre for registration at least 3 working days prior to the date of visit, otherwise no reservation can be made.
    # Alight from MTR Tuen Mun Station Exit C2 and interchange for MTR Bus Route K52 (operated between MTR Tuen Mun Station and Lung Kwu Tan, with bus stops at Tuen Mun Town Centre, LR Sam Shing Stop, Tuen Mun Ferry Pier, LR Butterfly Stop, and River Trade Terminal). Please alight from the bus stop "Shiu Wing Steel Mill". The average travelling time from MTR Tuen Mun Station to EcoPark is about 30-45 minutes. Please visit the MTR Corporation website for details.
  2. Under the Motor Vehicle Idling (Fixed Penalty) Ordinance (the Ordinance) (Cap. 611), within the area of EcoPark, the driver of a motor vehicle has to switch off engine while the vehicle is stationary.
  3. Visitors have to reserve sufficient time for transportation and arrive on time, as it takes considerable amount of time to travel to EcoPark. Late arrival does not entitle to time compensation.
  4. Visitors are not allowed to enter and stay in the area other than the Centre and the lots of tenants without the permission from EcoPark Management Company.
  5. Dangerous items and weapons are strictly prohibited in EcoPark.
  6. No pets are allowed in EcoPark with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired.
  7. Sale, promotional or fundraising campaigns of any kind are strictly prohibited in EcoPark.
  8. There are no restaurants and vending machines in the Centre. Visitors have to bring their own drinking water.
  9. Smoking, eating, drinking, littering, chasing and shouting is strictly prohibited in the Centre.
  10. No storage facilities are provided in the Centre. Visitors are at their sole responsibilities on their personal properties. The Centre is not responsible and shall not be held liable for any loss and/or damage of visitors' personal properties.
  11. Visitors shall be held liable and make full compensation for any damage to the facilities, equipment and/or exhibits in EcoPark and the Centre at market rate.
  12. The EcoPark Management Company shall not be held liable for any accidents and/or personal injuries, howsoever caused, during the use of the facilities. All visitors of EcoPark and the Centre are at their own risks.
  13. Photo-taking, video recording and/or recording of any kind for broadcast or distribution for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited in EcoPark and the Centre without the permission of the EcoPark Management Company.
  14. Media activities in EcoPark and the Centre require prior approval.
  15. The chaperone(s) of the tour groups should accompany the groups and maintain the order of group members in EcoPark and the Centre. To ensure safety, security and order, the EcoPark Management Company reserves the rights to deny admission of, or to require any visitor to leave EcoPark and the Centre for failure to comply with the above-mentioned criteria, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior.
Arrangements Under Inclement Weather Conditions
When Typhoon Signal No.8 or above/ Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the Centre will be temporarily closed and all the affected sessions will be cancelled without prior notice. The Centre will be re-opened within 2 hours after the Typhoon Signal No.8 or above/ Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is lowered. The Centre will remain closed and all the affected sessions will be cancelled without prior notice if the Typhoon Signal No.8 or above/ Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is lowered less than 2 hours (after 3 pm) before closing hour of the Centre.

Personal Data Collection Statement:
The personal data collected in this application form will only be used for processing and follow up the application for Docent Service. Unless otherwise specified, the Centre will retain the information for 12 months. Under Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, applicants may request for an access to and/or a correction of their personal data provided in the application form. Applicants have to lodge a written request, quoting the application reference number, to the Community Relations Unit of the Centre (Mailing address: EcoPark, No. 133, Lung Mun Road, Tuen Mun, N.T.).
