Ocean Art Walk 2014 in Stanley

To appeal to the public for the concerted effort to protect the ocean and reduce marine litter, the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, the Ocean Recovery Alliance, the Link Management
Limited, the Stanley Plaza and the Southern District Council will jointly present “Ocean Art Walk 2014 in Stanley”, an art exhibition to be held at Stanley Plaza and Stanley Promenade from 12 April to 4 May 2014. Installations made of marine litter and recyclables
such as waste glass bottles, waste plastics and discarded CDs, together with photos and videos with the theme of ocean conservation, will be exhibited with a view to raising public awareness about the environmental issues such as the management of regulations
on waste plastics and the protection of marine life. EcoPark tenant Yan Oi Tong EcoPark Plastic Resources Recycling Centre and “Green Glass Green” recycling programme are the supporting organizations of the art exhibition.
Dance performance and weekend guided tour will also be available for free. For details, please visit
